We are proud of our contribution to the economic development of Gisborne. DStevens is a locally owned business with over 60 years experience in the construction industry. Our history has given us great insight into the local construction industry and we pride ourselves on our strong and long-lasting relationships with our clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and merchants in Gisborne. 

Above all we're a company about people, always working to ensure we challenge our project teams. Our commitment to quality and strong portfolio of successful projects has encouraged many of our staff to relocate from other parts of New Zealand and around the world. All DStevens employee's are residents of Gisborne. Our team members are passionate about the development of Gisborne and share our enthusiasm for delivering innovative solutions. As our workload increases, so too does demand for a highly-skilled and talented workforce. We anticipate continued growth in our teams across 2017 to meet this increasing demand ensuring their is a benefit to our community by strengthening the local population and economy.

Our engagement with the Gisborne community does not start and stop with the projects we build. We actively engage with local schools and community organisations, often hosting groups of students to experience a day in our workshops or visiting secondary schools to share our experiences working in the construction industry and encourage the students to consider a career in construction.
