DStevens to Build New Offices for Eastland Port

DStevens is delighted to announce its appointment as Main Contractor for the new Eastland Port Offices, designed by Architects 44. Situated in the heart of Gisborne’s Inner Harbour, the new offices will be located within an existing building at 2 Crawford Road overlooking the harbour basin and Turanganui River.

Peter Stevens, DStevens Managing Director and Construction Lead, is leading the appointment. “This project is really important to us. It not only continues DStevens’ proud history delivering quality commercial and office environments in Gisborne, but we get to be part of a transformational project at the heart of The Inner Harbour precinct”, said Peter.

Following their recent appointment, DStevens has not wasted any time getting the project underway. “The coming month will be full on working through the demolition and site preparation. Once this is complete, our attention will turn to managing the delivery of the new offices. These projects are complex and risky, and we are fortunate to be working alongside great team of architects, subcontractors and suppliers,” adds Peter.

Scheduled for completion in late-2019, the new offices will be a fantastic addition to the revitalisation of the Inner Harbour and a great new space for Eastland Port.
