FAB ONE wins at the NZ House of the Year National Awards
The Registered Master Builders House of the Year National Awards celebrate building excellence in New Zealand. The competition awards the best homes and builders throughout the country and acknowledges the craftsmanship behind them.
Winners of this year’s competition were announced during a virtual awards ceremony hosted by Mark Sainsbury on Friday 26 November.
DStevens is thrilled that FAB ONE was announced the National Category Winner for New Homes $450,000 – $600,000. A National Category Award is given to those who are the best in their category at a national level.
The judges’ citation reads:
“The hilltop views are a real standout of this well-located and functional home. It has been built with a 45sqm footprint and is two storeys. This layout gave the builder the ability to create a double-height living space, which has resulted in amazing light and great ventilation. To ensure a warm and peaceful home, extra high insulation levels have been incorporated into the walls and rafters. The skilfully fitted vertical weatherboards add real personality to this home.”
Congratulations to our wonderful client, and thank you for trusting DStevens to bring your vision to life. We also wish to acknowledge the hard work and attention to detail from everyone involved in the design and construction of this beautiful home.
We are incredibly proud to showcase our enduring commitment to creating high-quality spaces and places alongside New Zealand’s top residential builds.
ABOUT THE HOUSE OF THE YEAR AWARDS
The House of the Year competition is judged by a team of experts who visit each home at least once. Homes are first judged at a regional level and awarded a range of quality marks. Category, lifestyle and the Regional Supreme Winners (for both new builds and renovations) are announced at events around the country from July onwards.
From those entries, up to 100 properties will reach Top 100 status and go through to a second round of judging for the national competition. In November the National House of the Year Awards take place, and the national category winners and Supreme House of the Year are announced.
