100% Independent Safety Rating Reported for 2023

DStevens health, safety & wellbeing framework, procedures, and practices have been independently assessed as a top-performing system, achieving a 100% rating for the second year running.

Since 2017, we have undertaken an annual third-party health and safety assessment with SiteWise to assess our health and safety framework and performance relative to best practice processes and procedures. Each year, we have sought to improve our systems by working together to make a positive impact on our team’s health, safety and wellbeing.

This years’ SiteWise assessment reviewed new evidence of our company protocols, safety planning documentation, risk and health monitoring, training, incident reporting, and how we manage subcontractors. DStevens has consistently received strong results in our third-party safety audits. In 2022, we achieved an independent assessment rating of 100% – successfully building on previous results. We are incredibly proud to have maintained a 100% rating again this year – achieving Gold Status once again and demonstrating that DStevens have high-quality health and safety systems in place.

DStevens is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace that supports and protects our people, subcontractors, clients and wider community. By undertaking independent third-party auditing of our workshops, construction sites and systems, we continue to focus on improving health and safety protocols and outcomes, both to meet the requirements of regulators and established codes of practice in the construction industry, and to ensure that everyone who works with DStevens goes home safely every day.

SiteWise Gold accreditation by Site Safe New Zealand recognises that our our health and safety capabilities, processes, and our strong commitment to creating a culture of safety in the workplace is among the very best in New Zealand.
