DStevens Reports Outstanding Health and Safety Results for 2020
Since 2017, we have undertaken an annual third-party health and safety assessment with SiteWise to assess our health and safety framework and performance. Each year, we have sought to improve our systems by working together to make a positive impact on our team’s health, safety and well-being.
This years’ SiteWise reassessment reviewed new evidence of our company safety planning, protocols, monitoring of risks, training, incident reporting, and how we manage our subcontractors. The evidence is assessed based on stringent health and safety criteria relative to best practice processes and procedures.
While the company has consistently received strong results in our third-party audits, we are incredibly proud to report an assessment score for 2020 of 91% – achieving Gold Status. We care deeply about the people who build our projects and the responsibility we all share to look after each other. Our 2020 result is an all-time high and an acknowledgement that the health and safety processes established within DStevens are continually improving to meet an ever-changing workplace environment.
Sitewise Assessment Results
Each assessed criteria is ranked on a scale based on the evidence provided relative to best practice processes and procedures.
A score less than or equal to 49 is representative of a low performer.
A score of 50 to 74 is representative of a medium performer.
A score of 75 to 89 is representative of a high performer.
A score of 90 to 100 is representative of exceptional performance.
